TOGETHER, WE CAN

End human trafficking in our community

Who We Are

Justice House of Hope, Inc. is a non- Profit organization that strives to raise awareness of and intervene in the exploitation of youth sex and labor trafficking victims in Pennsylvania.
We support youth survivors overcoming life challenges by addressing their immediate physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, social, and educational needs, in a safe, caring and structured environment.

What We Do

We Educate

We work with community stakeholders to expose the reality of human trafficking and its impact on our community. We provide training to teach the community to recognize the signs that someone is being trafficked and identify how to get help. We teach youth and young adults that predators are in our cities, in our schools, and they are people that we know, including people in our families. We teach them how to be vigilant, how to protect themselves, and how to heal from past traumas they may have experienced.

We Protect

Justice House of Hope Inc. seeks to assist survivors that are unable to be served by the traditional system, such as being returned to their families or entering the foster care system. The house will offer survivors structure, stability, and security in a nurturing environment. The Justice House of Hope will house juvenile survivors from 30 days up to program completion.

We Empower

We help survivors navigate the justice system. We provide trauma-informed counseling focusing on increasing self-esteem, learning communication, coping, and life skills, addressing substance abuse, healing from sexual exploitation, and developing healthy relationships.

Human trafficking in numbers

Human trafficking is a 150 billion dollar global industry. According to the Justice Department, human trafficking is defined as “the use of force, threat of force, fraud or coercion to recruit, harbor transport, provide or obtain any person for labor or commercial sex or to cause a person under 18 to engage in commercial sex acts.” Pennsylvania needs to increase efforts to identify trafficking victims, increase efforts to investigate and prosecute suspected sex traffickers and increase awareness campaigns about the existence of human trafficking, legal recourse, and available protection services.
